Yes this is a Super Sunday. Thanks for the effort of Z...sleeper, the results of the various ball games are as follows:
Badminton C grade, s/f DBS3 LSC0, final DBS3 Fukien Middle School1; 3rd place YWC3 LSC0, thus we win the Grand Slam!
Volleyball B final CSWCSS2 DBS0; 3rd place SKH Lui Ming Choi2 LSC0

This morning's Badminton Finals was a drama.
We won comfortably against LSC, but our 1st seed injured his back in the 3rd game.
I proceeded to Choi Hung Road (for Table Tennis) with a heavy heart, but the captain phoned and told me a spirited Fukien team beat the all-star Ying Wa C Grade in the other Semi-final.

Our chance would be slim if we were to play Ying Wa in the Final without our 1st seed.

Upon returning to Kowloon Bay, we were trailing 0:1 after losing the opening single to Fukien's 1st seed.
But the boys fought back and won the next 2 games, both with close margins.
Thanks to the persistance of our injured 1st seed, we won the 4th game 21:19 and sealed a 3:1 victory.

This is our first ever Grand Slam in Badminton.
But to be honest, I'm already looking forward to capture Grand Slam again next year!

Volleyball Team lost 19:25, 21:25 to CSW.
The difference lies in the amount of time spent in training. Unlike the CSW players, who devoted most of their time in this discipline, our boys are simply too busy.

Table Tennis Team were edged 2:3 in both B & C Grade Semi-finals.
Our performance on competition day is still slightly not as good as the other teams.

We qualified as 2nd in Group C2.
We will play LSC in Semi-final.

Today's Handball (Div.2) C Grade Quarter-final, LSC lost to King Ling.
LSC cannot promote to Div.1 next year, as both Wong Wha San and King Ling must be ahead of them in the Overall ranking.
