Day 1 program

After last year's victory, we already have the "6 consecutive years" record in our hands.
But we refuse to settle for that, and the boys will be seeking yet another triumph this year.

We missed a few standard points and didn't do well in B Grade Shot Put + C Grade Discus and Long Jump, but most track athletes got into Semis/Finals safely.
On the other hand, LSC also missed some standard points, and seems to have a B Grade sprinter injured.
Many of her A Grade track athletes can't get into Semis also.

DGS's lead is smaller than I predicted, and isn't doing too well in track events heats.

Overall it would be an uphill battle for both us and DGS.

Very tight battle indeed.....and surprised to see Hoi Ping and SJAC doing so well in all three grades.

Other schools are snatching a lot of points from us and LSC in the field events these few years; an indication that more schools are devoting resources to Athletics.
Our combined Day 1's total of 188 points is the 2nd lowest in the past decade, only higher than last year's 167.5.

The advantage in the projection is caused by our athletes qualifying for most semi-finals in good positions, which leaves little room for us to further improve our score.
LSC only has this problem in 1500m of all 3 Grades.

Day 2 program

LSC's B Grade is very strong, there's basically no chance for us to beat her.
We don't need to lose as much as last year because we got much better in track events this year, while one of LSC's sprinters seems to be injured.

A sensible target would be to maximize our advantage in A Grade, and minimize the loss in B Grade.
The margins should offset each other.

I think whoever wins C Grade this year will be the Overall champion, Day 2 field events and 4x100m heats would be crucial.
